‘A Night with the Stars’ is the premier sports celebrity event in the Hills region. In the past, guest speakers have included Laurie Daly, Ellie Cole, Brett Emerton, Mark Ella, Matt Dunn and Sarah Ryan.
Two of the sporting celebrities which are already confirmed for the Bar Stool Banter segment are Cameron Girdlestone and Andrew Edmonson. Cameron recently won an Olympic Silver Medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics in rowing for the men’s quad scull, and Andrew won a Paralympic Gold Medal as part of Australia’s Murderball team in Rio, otherwise known as wheelchair rugby.
As the event approaches more names will be released, including a music guest who will be provided, once again, by Sony Music Australia.
It’s a great night of fun and entertainment, plus it raises much needed funds for our future sports stars. The event supports the Western Sydney Academy of Sport, which is a community based not-for-profit organisation that provides development programs for the regions talented young sportspeople.
