If you have not been supplied with a payment summary (group certificate) this year, don’t panic… as from now onwards you may not receive a payment summary from your employer, as it is directly being created online via the ATO’s myGov system which you will have to login to. If you have not done so already, you may have to set up a login to get the information now and in the future…
The system is now in place and most companies are reporting directly into the system. This is good news for you in one way, as it keeps track of all your remunerations throughout the year and makes it easy and convenient for you to access your payment summaries at anytime and anywhere in the world.
