Well, another year has passed by. With 2018 coming to an end, I hope you all achieved what you wanted to during the past year…
Pendragon managed to be the first company to get the New Labour Hire agreement in place under the new TSS/482 (old 457) visa and we can now sponsor across all occupations. We actually worked with the Department of Home Affairs over 3 months on the new TSS contract… which was interesting…
On a business note, my team performed at a top level again, giving our clients an exceptional service whilst handling issues and problem-solving along the way, all a part of the usual work pressures. As I have said before if I did not have a caring team working with me then my year would have been a lot harder. We attended and supported our usual charity groups, which is always a great thing to be part of and were inducted into the Wall of Fame at The Children’s Medical Centre (Jeans for Genes) for the funds Pendragon have raised over the past 15 years…
Some more of the subjects and topics I talked about in my e-book ‘The New World of Work’, came to fruition with the banks actually having further pressure to create instant pay and blockchain.
For the fun part, we had some team events organised as a thank you for all my team’s efforts and our end of year celebrations saw a lot of our clients attend our Christmas function. Everyone had a great night with our usual fun quizzes, lots of prizes and lots of laughs had by all…
With regards to 2019, we will continue to provide high-quality service and look to come up with new easier and innovated ways to assist our clients. We will do our best to make the immigration/visa process and changes easy to understand and follow and add value to all our service where ever we can…
From a personal point of view, I have had some great Holidays and I enjoyed riding my motorbike on the beautiful roads of Australia. For those motorbike enthusiasts, I ride a Ducati Scrambler which is great fun. My 3 children are all doing fine, it only seems yesterday that they were starting school and now they have all left…
So here’s to a great 2019, both personally and professionally, and above all have fun and enjoy this wonderful world that we live in…
