Dreaming of an open-road or travel during the long weekend…? Two new interactive maps published by Tourism Australia shows which parts of Australia are open to travellers. As Australia gradually reopens, some states and territories appear to be considering setting up their own travel bubbles. So, Tourism Australia has published 2 new interactive maps that show which parts of Australia are open to travellers.
The first map provides an up to date status of all border restrictions and links to each state and territory. For detailed information, you can see the map.
The second map is made for travellers around the country who are planning on self-drive holidays. This map is designed considering locals when they are discovering their first break post-pandemic. There are two parts of this experience, a dynamic landing page that allows travellers to filter featured trips based on their unique requirements and an interactive map that allows for a more visual exploration of the trips in your state.
Also, Tourism Australia is continuing to add itineraries to the planning tool and will continue to enhance the map over the coming months.
